D. E. McDermott

D. E. McDermott was born in Brooklyn, New York. Largely self-taught, he had early contact with the great animal sculptor, Anna H. Huntington. For several years, he lived and maintained a studio in Spain where his life-size sculpture, Youth, was commissioned for the city of Valencia's Exposition.

His portrait sculptures and semi abstract figures are in private collections throughout the world. Mr. McDermott currently resides in Virginia.
